It seems like every year we have been here in Texas spring/summer comes earlier. The entire month of March stayed above freezing and temperatures the last two weeks of March have been in the 70’s and 80’s with two 90 degree days. I have already transplanted my garden seedlings and all are thriving. We will probably have a few 100 degree days by early June.

Stamp sales have been slower than usual this year. The up side for us is we have more time to arrange our stock and update our web site listings. Our major updates for April are the German states listings , the Germany 1946-49 listings, and we added a new section of early Austria cancels for our customers who like them. We listed the Austrian cancels by Muller catalog numbers which few collectors have access to but we also picture each cancel so collectors can see if they need that cancel. We also added a dozen new special lots to the Specials listings.

Treasure Boxes

We are making up treasure boxes faster than we can sell them. Our boxed contain stamps and covers from all over the world but are heavy in stamps from the German and Austrian areas. Boxes are unchecked except that we always make sure there are stamps of good value included. If you like to sort through piles of philatelic material these lots are for you.

AUSTRIA PHILATELIC SOCIETY (US)

The Austria Philatelic Society (US) is entering its 25th year as a stamp club focusing on the Austrian area. We have members throughout the US and abroad. The club is anchored by its quarterly bulletin and twice a year stamp auctions.
