Our part of the country has had acceptable weather all year – with the exception of January and early February. We have had miserable weather again during mid-winter. I know I should not complain as most of the country has had miserable weather but we moved her for the warm weather. Last year I planted winter vegetables and they did well. This year all plants froze – except for the weeds which have flourished.
I keep planning on producing more frequent written price lists but never seem to get it done. Our online web site now accounts for about 80 percent of our sales and gets most of our time to maintain.
We do accept want lists and have a number of customers who fill their collections that way. We can almost always fill customers’ lists. We will supply singles or sets if have them. We welcome your lists and will work to send you exactly what you need.
If you read our news letter you have noticed my frustration with adding images to our on line listings. Our biggest problem with our web site continues to be keeping images posted properly.. It would seem that it is a pretty routine matter to attach images to particular listings but it has not turned out that way. Somehow the images tend to migrate and/or disappear. Any time you need to see an image before you decide to purchase and one is not displayed just email us and we send an image to you immediately.
For those who visit us via our web site, you will see us adding new items continuously. You might want to check more often for items you need. We just completed adding many new items to our Germany 1-300 section, our Austria covers and cArds section, and post WWII section. Don’t forget to check our Specials page – bargains to be found!
ABBREVIATIONS USED ON OUR PRICE LISTS – and on our web site.
We have been using these abbreviations for nearly 50 years and forget that some of our customers are unfamiliar with all of them. (We can tell from all the questions we receive.) We used to list all of abbreviations on the first page of each price list but have stopped doing this to save space. Here is a listing of most of those abbreviations. If you use our web site these abbreviations are listed via the link “Purchase Terms” at the top of the home page.
